Our View on the Southwell (AW) Card

Three races worth a view, scored on market position, official ratings, recent form and yard form. Our reasoning is shown so you can disagree with it.

4:23 Book the Bistro in Seasons Restaurant Handicap Stakes

Portman Blue is the strongest case on the card. The yard is in form, and that tends to matter more than any single line of form. In a 14-runner field, take the each-way terms seriously.

El Fox is the each-way alternative. The yard is in form, and that tends to matter more than any single line of form. In a 14-runner field, take the each-way terms seriously.

5:00 Dance Through the Decades Christmas Parties Fillies' Handicap Stakes

Always Happy is the strongest case on the card. The yard is in form, and that tends to matter more than any single line of form.

The Third Star is the each-way alternative. The yard is in form, and that tends to matter more than any single line of form.

5:30 Saturday 24th October Gents Night Handicap Stakes

Lerwick is the strongest case on the card. Recent form reads well against these.

Midsummer Storm is the each-way alternative. Recent form reads well against these.

Selections are our own opinion from published form and prices, not a forecast of a winner. Most favourites lose. 18+ · GambleAware.org
