Prefer the reels to the racecard? These are the casino welcome offers British Gambler rates for free spins and value — every card shows the full key terms, and since January 2026 all UK bonus wagering is capped at 10x. Read each review before you opt in.

b
bet365 Casino
Casino · ★★★★★ 4.8
Up to 500 Free Spins · No Wager
£10 deposit · spins paid with no wagering requirement.
British Gambler’s take: Best for slots players who hate wagering — winnings from the spins are cash. The “up to 500” is staggered over 10 days, so it suits regular players, not one-off sign-ups.

18+. New customers only. Min £10 in lifetime deposits. Offer must be claimed within 30 days of registering. Select prizes of 5, 10, 20 or 50 free spins; 10 selections available within 20 days, 24 hours between each. No wagering on spin winnings. Game, max-prize and time limits apply. T&Cs apply. GambleAware.

B
Betway Casino
Casino · ★★★★☆ 4.5
Stake £10, Get 150 Free Spins · No Wager
Slots, Megaways, Slingo & daily tournaments.
British Gambler’s take: Best for value seekers — 150 no-wager spins is one of the larger wager-free bundles, and Betway’s slots library (Hacksaw, Megaways) backs it up. Straightforward to claim with a £10 stake.

18+. New customers only. Opt in and stake £10 on eligible games to receive 150 free spins with no wagering on spin winnings. Spin value, eligible games and time limits apply. T&Cs apply. GambleAware.

C
Casumo Casino
Casino · ★★★★☆ 4.4
50% Bonus up to £100 + 50 Free Spins
First-deposit match plus spins, 10x wagering.
British Gambler’s take: Best for players who want bonus funds rather than pure spins. The 50% match stretches a bigger deposit, and the 10x wagering meets the new UKGC cap — fair by current standards.

18+. New customers only. 50% deposit match up to £100 plus 50 free spins. 10x wagering on the bonus amount (UKGC maximum). Game contributions, max bet and time limits apply. T&Cs apply. GambleAware.

A
All British Casino
Casino · ★★★★☆ 4.3
100 Cash Spins on Le Bandit + 10% Cashback
Deposit & wager £10 · ongoing 10% cashback.
British Gambler’s take: Best for players who value ongoing perks over a big upfront number — the 10% cashback runs beyond the welcome offer, and “cash spins” mean winnings come without the usual playthrough.

18+. New customers only. Deposit and wager at least £10 to receive 100 cash spins on Le Bandit, plus 10% cashback. Eligible games, spin value and time limits apply. T&Cs apply. GambleAware.

Betting Offers FAQ

How do betting promo codes work?

Enter the code during sign-up — or, with some bookmakers, it applies automatically when you opt in — to unlock the listed new-customer offer. The code itself rarely changes the offer value; it simply tags your account to the promotion. Every code on this page is verified live by British Gambler and tied to the operator’s current terms.

Do you get your free bet stake back if it wins?

No. Almost all UK free bets are “stake not returned” (SNR): you keep the profit, but not the token stake. For example, a £10 free bet at 3/1 returns £30 in winnings, not £40. Stake-returned free bets exist but are rare.

Can you withdraw winnings from a free bet?

Yes — once free bet winnings are credited they become real, withdrawable cash, subject to any wagering requirement attached and ID verification. Sportsbook free bets often have no further wagering; casino bonuses usually do.

What are wagering requirements — and is there a cap?

A wagering (or “playthrough”) requirement is how many times you must stake bonus winnings before withdrawing. Win £10 at 10x and you must bet £100 before cashing out. Since 19 January 2026 the UK Gambling Commission caps bonus wagering at 10x, so anything higher is no longer permitted. See our casino bonuses page for the lowest-wagering deals.

What does “Bet £10, Get £30” actually mean?

It’s a “bet and get” (matched) offer: place a qualifying bet of £10 at the stated minimum odds, and once it settles the bookmaker credits you £30 in free bets. You don’t need to win the qualifying bet — it just has to be placed and settled within the time limit.

What minimum odds do betting offers need?

Qualifying bets are commonly set at Evens (2.0), while free bets are often usable from 1/5 (1.20) upward — but it varies by offer. SBK, for instance, requires 4+ leg multiples, while Betfred’s qualifying bet is a simple Evens single. Always check the key terms shown under each offer above, or our free bets guide.

Do betting free bets expire?

Yes, and the window is often short. Among the offers above, SBK tokens expire 5 days after credit, Betfred and Unibet free bets last 7 days, and Spreadex gives 28 days. Claim an offer when you’ll actually use it rather than letting tokens lapse.

What’s the difference between a free bet and a casino bonus?

A free bet is a sportsbook token (stake not returned, you keep the profit). A casino bonus is matched funds or free spins, usually carrying wagering requirements. Compare them on our free bets and casino bonuses pages.

Are no-wagering free spins better?

Generally, yes — with no-wager spins (like bet365 Casino and Betway Casino above) any winnings are paid as cash you can withdraw straight away. With the UKGC’s 10x wagering cap now in force, standard-wagering offers are fairer than before, but no-wager remains the cleanest value. Browse current free spins offers.

Why can’t casino bonuses be combined with sports betting anymore?

From January 2026 a UKGC “mixed-product” rule stops operators requiring you to play more than one product (for example, sports and slots) to unlock a single bonus. Welcome offers must now be tied to one activity, which makes the terms simpler and easier to compare.

Can I claim more than one betting offer?

Yes. Each UKGC-licensed bookmaker and casino runs its own promotion, so you can hold accounts and claim a welcome offer at several sites — typically one per person and household per site. Read each offer’s terms, as duplicate-account rules apply.

Are these betting offers safe and legitimate?

Every brand on this page holds a UK Gambling Commission licence. British Gambler only features operators that are legal for UK players, and we link the full terms for each offer so you can verify them before signing up.

Are betting sign-up offers actually worth it?

The value lives in the terms, not the headline. A “£50” offer with strict minimum odds, a short expiry and stake-not-returned free bets can be worth less than a smaller, cleaner deal. British Gambler ranks offers by their real value after the terms — which is why our editor’s picks aren’t always the biggest numbers.

UK betting offers, explained

Every deal on this page is a welcome offer for new customers only. To claim one you’ll need to register a fresh account, make a qualifying deposit and be 18 or over — they’re a one-time perk for joining, not something existing customers can claim again and again. And every brand here is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, which matters more than the headline number (see the offshore warning below).

The main types of bonus — with real examples

Matched free bets (“bet £10, get £30”). You place a qualifying bet at the minimum odds and, once it settles, the bookmaker credits free bets — win or lose. Example: stake £10 at Evens, and £30 in free bets lands in your account. Remember these are stake-not-returned: a £10 free bet at 3/1 pays £30 profit, not £40.

Deposit matches. The casino tops up your deposit — say 50% up to £100, so £100 in becomes £150 to play with. Bonus funds carry wagering (capped at 10x since January 2026), so a £50 bonus at 10x means £500 of bets before you can withdraw winnings.

Free spins. Usually quoted as a count at a set value — 100 spins at 10p each is £10 of value, not £100. No-wager spins are the prize here: anything you win is cash, straight away.

Odds boosts & refunds. Some offers double your first bet’s odds or refund a losing acca as a free bet. A doubled-odds boost can beat a fixed free bet if you back short-to-mid prices; acca insurance suits multi-leg punters who’d otherwise get nothing back from a near miss.

Our tips: how to judge whether an offer is worth it

Read the value, not the headline. A “£50” offer that needs four-leg accumulators and expires in five days can be worth far less to you than a clean £20 you’ll actually use. Three things decide it: the qualifying odds (can you place the bet you’d place anyway?), whether the stake is returned (it usually isn’t), and the expiry. Then match the offer to how you bet — an accumulator-only bonus is wasted on a single-pick punter, and a big deposit match is pointless if you only ever stake a tenner.

When you don’t need a sign-up offer

Skip it if you already hold the account — these are new-customer only. Skip it if the qualifying bet or deposit is more than you’d normally stake; chasing a bonus by betting bigger than you’re comfortable with is exactly the wrong reason to bet. And skip it if the terms — debit-card-only, short expiry, high minimum odds — don’t fit when and how you actually play. The offer should be a small extra on a bet you’d make anyway, never the reason for it.

Avoid offshore bookmakers

You’ll sometimes see offshore sites dangling much bigger free bets than anything here. Don’t be tempted. A site without a UK Gambling Commission licence isn’t regulated for British players: there’s no guaranteed payout, no UK dispute protection, and little you can do if it voids your winnings or simply refuses to pay. A larger headline number is worthless if you can’t withdraw it. Every offer British Gambler lists is from a fully UK-licensed operator — that’s the floor, not a bonus feature.
