Our View on the Stratford Card

Three races worth a view, scored on market position, official ratings, recent form and yard form. Our reasoning is shown so you can disagree with it.

1:39 Keogh & Hows Maiden Hurdle Race

Master Potter is the strongest case on the card at 1/6. Recent form reads well against these.

Katarcice makes more sense each-way at 2/11. Recent form reads well against these.

2:49 Tracey- Ann Hen Day to Remember Mares' Handicap Hurdle Race

Watamu is the strongest case on the card at 1/6. The yard is in form, and that tends to matter more than any single line of form. Only 6 line up, so there is little each-way value here.

Hello Sweety makes more sense each-way at 2/11. Recent form reads well against these. Only 6 line up, so there is little each-way value here.

3:34 Roy G. T. Clark 100th Birthday Memorial Handicap Steeple Chase

Mersey Street is the strongest case on the card at 1/9. Recent form reads well against these.

Kit's Coty makes more sense each-way at 2/11. The yard is in form, and that tends to matter more than any single line of form.

Selections are our own opinion from published form and prices, not a forecast of a winner. Most favourites lose. 18+ · GambleAware.org

Shortest-Priced Favourites at Stratford

The three shortest prices across 7 races on this card.

Chance shown is the market's own probability with the bookmakers' margin stripped out — what the prices imply, not our forecast.

  1. 1
    Mersey Street 1/9
    Stratford 3:34 · 7 runners · Class 5

15% chance. Clear favourite of 7.

  2. 2
    Master Potter 1/6
    Stratford 1:39 · 7 runners · Class 4

14% chance. Clear favourite of 7.

  3. 3
    Watamu 1/6
    Stratford 2:49 · 6 runners · Class 4

17% chance. Clear favourite of 6.

A short price is the market's opinion, not a forecast of a winner. Favourites win roughly a third of British races. 18+ · GambleAware.org
