Verdict, Market Read & Value Calls
The market makes Coolishael the clear favourite (implied 9.1% chance) at 1.1, trained by Ross O'Sullivan. Ellis Redding is the chief market rival at 1.1.
★ Market shape · A competitive heat at the top of the market — three or four runners are within touching distance on price.
★ Top pick · Top pick: Coolishael. Best price available at Matchbook — historically translates to roughly a one-in-three strike rate at favourite-level pricing.
★ Each-way value · Each-way value sits with Ellis Redding at 1.1. The price gives place hunters a margin of safety, particularly with bookies paying Extra Places in big-field handicaps.
★ Bigger-priced angle · The bigger-priced angle: Jury Time at 1.11. Form figures of 61323- show place form within recent runs — at a double-digit price the each-way play covers downside risk if the favourites duel.
2m90y · Favourite's trainer is striking at 5% over the last 14 days.
