New casino sites still open in the UK every few months, despite a doubled gaming tax and a string of exits. And players in the UK looking for a new bonus often look for new sites. Here are the latest UKGC-licensed casino brands from the gambling sites we work with, what each new online casino offers, and who is really behind it.
By Alexander Kostin, founder of British Gambler
I have spent most of my working life in and around online gambling, as a journalist, at Better Collective and now as the founder of this site. I live in Malta, where a good share of the industry’s back offices sit, and I have watched a great many casinos launch with fanfare. A surprising number were the same casino in a new coat.
That is the first thing to understand about new casino sites in the UK. A genuinely a newer casino brand, with its own licence, its own payments team and its own customer service, is rare. Far more common is a new brand built on an existing platform, sharing a licence, a cashier and a rulebook with half a dozen siblings. Neither is automatically better. But they behave differently when something goes wrong, and you deserve to know which one you are dealing with.
Below are the newest sites from the real money gambling operators we work with, what each one offers new British players, and the checks I run myself before I trust a casino with my own money.

BetSuna
The freshest name on the list, and the clearest example of how new brands are built now. BetSuna arrived in May 2026 from ProgressPlay, one of the bigger white-label platforms, with casino and sportsbook under one roof. New players can claim up to £100 plus 50 Free Spins. Bonus money must be wagered 10x within 30 days, and free spin winnings 10x within seven days. The fine print matters here: conversion is capped at one times the bonus amount, or £20 from the spins, and Skrill and Neteller deposits do not qualify. The offer is also limited across five brands in the same network, so if you have already taken a welcome bonus at a sister site, check before you sign up.
Megaways Casino
Strictly a relaunch rather than a debut. Megaways Casino first appeared in 2021 and returned in March 2026 on SkillOnNet’s platform, which is why some lists call it new and others don’t. I count it, because what matters to a player is who runs the site today. Bet £10 and you get 100 Free Spins on Fishing Frenzy Big Catch Megaways at 10p each, with 10x wagering on the spin winnings. Maximum bets while wagering are capped at 10 per cent of those winnings or £5, whichever is lower.
BetMaze
The newest name in our list that isn’t entirely new. BetMaze took over from Sparkle Slots, a casino that had been trading since 2017, and opened to British players under its new name in January 2026. If you had a Sparkle Slots account, expect to be treated as an existing customer. Everyone else can claim up to £50 plus 20 Free Spins, with the bonus wagered 10x within 30 days and spin winnings 10x within seven days. Conversion is capped at £50 from the bonus and £20 from the spins, and Skrill and Neteller deposits are excluded.
Justin Casino
A Jumpman Gaming brand that went live in October 2025. Its welcome offer is a prize wheel added to your account on your first qualifying deposit of £10 or more, with up to 500 Free Spins on Big Bass Splash in play. Free spin winnings carry 10x wagering and a maximum win of £50, which is the number to focus on rather than the 500. Jumpman runs a large stable of sites, Great Britain Casino and Online Casino London among them, so the same caveat about sister brands applies.
BestOdds
One of the few on this list that is not a skin of a bigger platform. BestOdds is run by Razorbill Links on the Isle of Man and opened in the UK in the autumn of 2025. Wager £20 or more on selected Pragmatic Play slots and you receive 50 Free Spins a day for five days, 250 in total, with Promo Code bop5x50fs. Each day’s spins expire 24 hours after they land, so this suits someone who plays most evenings rather than once a fortnight. Wagering is 10x.
247bet
Launched in August 2025 by Casimba Gaming on White Hat Gaming’s platform, the same machinery behind Casimba, Dream Vegas and Grand Ivy. Deposit at least £20, wager £20 of it on slots, and you get 75 Free Spins on Big Bass Bonanza. Our 247bet casino bonus page has the full terms. Winnings arrive as cash, capped at £100, and you have 72 hours to use the spins.
Panda Bingo
The only bingo site among our recent arrivals, launched by Grace Media in February 2025. Deposit £10 and you get a £40 bingo bonus with just 4x wagering on bingo games, which is about as light as UK bingo offers get. The bonus and its winnings are valid for 30 days, conversion is capped at the bonus amount, and Skrill and Neteller deposits don’t qualify.
Casiku
A White Hat Gaming site from late 2024 with one of the cleaner offers here. Deposit at least £20, play £50 on slots on the same day, and you get 50 wager-free spins on Big Bass Splash. Winnings are paid as cash and capped at £50. No wagering means no waiting, which is worth more than the headline suggests.
Mega Riches
Opened in August 2024 by Videoslots, the company behind Video Slots and Mr Vegas, so it arrived with a proven back office. New players depositing at least £10 get up to £25 in bonus money plus 50 Spins, with 10x wagering.
7Bet Casino
The casino arm of 7Bet, launched in 2024 by Anakatech. Our 7Bet bonus guide covers the sportsbook side too. Deposit and spin £20 and you get 100 Free Spins on Big Bass Splash with Promo Code WELCOME100. Spin winnings need wagering just once, maximum bets are £1 while you do, and up to £100 can be withdrawn.
Fun Casino
L&L Europe’s 2024 brand, sister to All British Casino and Pub Casino. Deposit and wager £10 and you get 100 Cash Spins on Big Bass Splash at 10p each. Winnings are cash with no maximum cash-out, though you must activate the offer before depositing, the spins expire in 48 hours and Skrill deposits are excluded.
Peachy Games
Solaya Group’s 2024 launch, built on the same platform as Casushi and Fruitkings. Deposit £10 and stake £10 on slots for 40 No Wager Free Spins on Big Bass Splash at 10p each. It is a modest offer, but winnings are withdrawable cash from the moment the spins finish.
For more spins with no strings attached, our no wagering bonuses guide covers the wider market.
What actually counts as a new online casino?
There is no official definition, which is why one list’s “new” is another’s “established”. Most competitors use a window of one to three years. I use a simpler test: has something changed that a player would notice?
That gives three kinds of new casino. The first is a genuine debut, a brand that has never taken a British customer before, such as BetSuna. The second is a relaunch, where an existing name moves to a new platform or owner, as Megaways Casino did. The third is a rebrand, where an old site gets a new name and logo. BetMaze, for instance, is the old Sparkle Slots under a new name, and MogoBet began life in 2017 as Brightstar. Fruity King added a bingo room in 2025, but the casino itself has been trading since 2015.
Rebrands are the ones to watch. Your account history, any self-exclusion and any bonus you have already claimed usually carry over, because the company behind it hasn’t changed. That is good for safety and bad for anyone hoping to claim a second welcome offer.
Who runs Britain’s new casino sites
Most new UK casinos are built on white-label platforms. A platform company holds the Gambling Commission licence, provides the games, the cashier, the verification and the customer support, and a brand owner supplies the name, the look and the marketing. Some of the big ones are ProgressPlay (BetSuna, MogoBet, Betrino and Bluefox), SkillOnNet (Megaways Casino, Swift Casino and Luna Casino), Jumpman Gaming (Justin Casino and Great Britain Casino), L&L Europe (Fun Casino, Pub Casino and All British Casino), White Hat Gaming (Casiku, Casimba and Dream Vegas), Grace Media (Panda Bingo and Vegas Wins) and Solaya Group (Peachy Games, Casushi and Fruitkings).
From a player’s side, this has three practical effects.
First, siblings share rules. The terms at a platform’s brands are often word for word the same, so one site’s withdrawal times and verification process tell you a lot about its sisters.
Second, siblings often share one welcome offer. ProgressPlay brands limit their offers to five sites in the network. Happy Tiger and Spin King say plainly that it is one offer across sites on the same licence.
Third, a brand can close while its platform carries on. When that happens, players are usually moved to a sister site rather than left stranded. Our casino sister sites guide maps the main families.
If you prefer a casino that answers to nobody else, our independent casinos guide is the place to start.
How to check a new casino site is properly licensed
This takes two minutes and I do it every time, including for brands we work with.
Scroll to the footer. A UK-licensed casino must show who operates it and its Gambling Commission account number. Take that number to the Commission’s public register and check three things: the licence is active, the company name matches the footer, and the website’s domain is listed under that licence. If the domain is missing, walk away.
While you are there, confirm the site is part of GAMSTOP, the national self-exclusion scheme. Every UK-licensed online casino has to be. A site that boasts about not being on GAMSTOP is not licensed in Britain, whatever its banner says.
Other red flags I take seriously: a welcome offer with wagering above 10x (no longer legal for UK sites), credit card deposits (banned since April 2020), a casino that offers a combined casino-and-sports bonus requiring you to play both (banned since January 2026), and support that cannot tell you who holds the licence.
Welcome offers at new UK casinos since the 10x wagering cap
The rules changed on 19 January 2026. Under the Gambling Commission’s new promotion rules, wagering on any UK bonus is now capped at 10x, and promotions that make you play two types of gambling, such as a bet on football to unlock casino spins, are no longer allowed.
The result is fewer eye-catching headline numbers and better value underneath. New casinos have leaned into free spins with low or no wagering, which is why so many of the offers above are spins on Big Bass Splash or Big Bass Bonanza rather than towering match bonuses.
What hasn’t changed is the importance of reading past the headline. The figures that decide what an offer is worth are the maximum win or conversion cap, the expiry window and the excluded payment methods. A 500-spin wheel with a £50 cap is a different proposition from 40 spins with no cap at all. Our free spins guide and casino promo codes page go through more of these offers.
Why fewer new casinos are launching
Remote Gaming Duty, the tax on online casino revenue, rose from 21 per cent to 40 per cent on 1 April 2026. That nearly doubled the cost of running a UK casino overnight, and the effect was visible across our own network before the increase arrived. At the start of 2026 we were already seeing partners plan to close their UK operations, a trend Reuters later reported, and some well-known names have left Britain altogether since.
Brands are still launching, as BetSuna shows. But the margin for error is thinner, so expect fewer new casinos, more relaunches of existing names on cheaper platforms, and more closures of weaker brands, with players moved to sister sites.
What happens to your balance if a new casino closes
Every UK-licensed casino must tell you how well your money is protected if it goes bust, usually rated as not protected, medium or high. Look for this in the terms or the cashier pages before you deposit a large sum.
In practice, when a brand closes but its operator carries on, you are normally given notice to withdraw or offered a move to a sister site. My advice is simple: don’t leave more in any casino account, new or old, than you would be comfortable waiting a few weeks to get back.
Should you join a brand-new casino?
If the licence checks out, yes, with your eyes open. New casinos tend to have the most modern cashiers and lobbies, and they compete hard for your first deposit. Platform brands also bring proven back offices with them, which is reassuring.
The trade-off is a short track record. Nobody yet knows how a six-month-old brand handles a complaint, a big win or a disputed withdrawal. So start small, verify your account before you need to withdraw, and make your first cash-out a modest one. If that goes smoothly, you have learned more than any review can tell you.
New casino sites: your questions answered
Are new online casinos safe?
A new casino licensed by the Gambling Commission has to meet the same rules as one that has been trading for 20 years, from age checks to GAMSTOP. The risk is not the rules but the track record, so check the licence on the public register and start with a small deposit.
How often do new casinos launch in the UK?
New brands still appear every few months, though the pace has slowed since the duty increase in April 2026. Many launches are new brands on existing white-label platforms rather than brand-new companies.
Can I claim a welcome bonus at every new casino?
Not always. Sites on the same platform often limit you to one welcome offer across their network, and a rebranded casino usually treats you as an existing customer if you held an account under its old name.
Are new casino sites on GAMSTOP?
Every online casino licensed in Great Britain must be part of GAMSTOP. If you have self-excluded, a new UK-licensed brand will block you, and it should.
Do new casinos pay out faster?
Often, because they launch with modern payment systems such as Open Banking and instant card payouts. But your first withdrawal anywhere will be slower while the casino verifies your identity, so upload your documents early.
Gambling should be entertainment, never a way to make money. Set a deposit limit before you play, and if it stops being fun, free confidential support is available at GambleAware.org. 18+ only.
